George Barna Worldview Survey: •Do absolute moral truths exist? •Is absolute truth defined by the Bible? •Is the Bible accurate in all of its teachings? •Is God the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe, and does He still rule it today? •Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life? •Is salvation a gift from God that cannot be earned? •Is Satan real? •Does a Christian have a responsibility to share his or her faith in Christ with other people?
  3. Based on this survey… Only 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview! BUT!!! Only 9% of those who claim to be “born again Christians” have a Biblical Worldview!
  4. Some Major Worldviews… • Theism • Atheism (“A”  “Not”) • Agnosticism • Deism • Polytheism (“many gods”) • Pantheism (“all” is “god”) • Post-Modernism
  5. SUPPOSE 3 PEOPLE GO TO THE MOUNTAINS… • Bible-Believer/Theist • Atheist • Pantheist
  6. From God’s perspective, there are only 2 worldviews that count: • God’s Biblical Worldview • The World’s Worldview
