  • Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
  • Thy kingdom? Today we are going to look at “Thy kingdom” What Did Those Hearing “Thy Kingdom Come,” ThinkIt Meant? Thy kingdom past Thy kingdom present Thy kingdom future Thy kingdom in my heart Paul’s use of kingdom
  • What Did Those Hearing“Thy Kingdom Come,”Think It Meant?
  • Let’s Look At What Godrevealed To King Neb.
  • Dan 2:39-45 39 "After you, another kingdom will rise, inferior to yours.Next, a third kingdom , one of bronze, will rule over the wholeearth. 40 Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom , strong as iron— for iron breaks and smashes everything — and as ironbreaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all theothers. 41 Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly ofbaked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as yousaw iron mixed with clay. 42 As the toes were partly iron andpartly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partlybrittle. 43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with bakedclay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remainunited, any more than iron mixes with clay.
  • Dan 2:39-45 44 "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up akingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left toanother people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bringthem to an end, but it will itself endure forever. 45 This is themeaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, butnot by human hands — a rock that broke the iron, thebronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces. "The great God has shown the king what will take place in thefuture. The dream is true and the interpretation istrustworthy."
  • Dan 2:39-45 There would be 4 earthly kingdoms.Real, physical, historical, literal, ruling kingdoms. Then God would set up His Kingdom. Areal, physical, historical, literal, ruling, eternal kingdom. He will crush the last kingdom and bring it to an end. God’sKingdom will endure forever. The context will not allow any spiritual or allegoricalinterpretation.
  • What Will It Be Like? Ps 2:9 You will rule them with an iron scepter ; youwill dash them to pieces like pottery." Ps 110:2 The LORD will extend your mighty scepterfrom Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies. Heb 1:8 But about the Son he says, "Your throne, OGod, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness [ascepter of justice in Ps 45:6] will be the scepter of yourkingdom. Rev 12:5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who willrule all the nations with an iron scepter.
  • King or Kingdom The concept of a king without a kingdom would havebeen very strange. What good or bad would a king bewithout a kingdom?
  • King or Kingdom Greek; <932> basileia, Meaning:kingdom, sovereignty, royal power, Origin: from936, Usage: kingdom(159), kingdoms(3), reigns*(1). <935> basileus= king or kings Hebrew; <04428>, melek (572d), Meaning: king, Origin:from an unused word, Usage:King(253), king(1730), Kings(6), kings(241), kingdom(1),Kings(41), kings(241), kings(2), royal(5). Aramaic and English are similar. A king without a kingdom is a different kinda’ king.
  • John the Baptist Let’s see what John the Baptist said about the Kingdom.
  • John the Baptist Matt 3:1-3 In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in theDesert of Judea 2 and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom ofheaven is near." 3 This is he who was spoken of throughthe prophet Isaiah: "A voice of one calling in the desert, Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him."
  • John the Baptist’s Mission Isa 40:3 A voice is calling, "Clear the way for the LORD in thewilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. John 1:23 He said, "I am a voice of one crying in thewilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as Isaiah theprophet said." The angel said to Zacharias in Luke 1:17 "And it is he who will goas a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, toturn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and thedisobedient to the attitude of the righteous; so as to make readya people prepared for the Lord." Luke 1:76 "And you, child, will be called the prophet of the MostHigh; For you will go on before the Lord to prepare His ways;
  • John the Baptist’s Mission What the angel quoted to Zacharias in Luke 1:17 was; Malachi 4:1 "For behold, the day is coming, burninglike a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoerwill be chaff; and the day that is coming will set themablaze," says the LORD of hosts, "so that it will leavethem neither root nor branch." 2 "But for you who fear My name, the sun ofrighteousness will rise with healing in its wings; andyou will go forth and skip about like calves from thestall….
  • John the Baptist’s Mission 3 "You will tread down the wicked, for they will beashes under the soles of your feet on the day which Iam preparing," says the LORD of hosts. 4 "Rememberthe law of Moses My servant, even the statutes andordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for allIsrael. 5 "Behold, I am going to send you Elijah theprophet before the coming of the great and terrible dayof the LORD. 6 "He will restore the hearts of thefathers to their children and the hearts of the childrento their fathers, so that I will not come and smite theland with a curse."
  • Here’s a Peek At The Kingdom
  • Mount Of Transfiguration Matthew 16:26 - 17:13 What good will it be for a man if he gains thewhole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange forhis soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Fathers glory withhis angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he hasdone. 28 I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not tastedeath before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." NIVMatthew 17:1 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John thebrother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 Therehe was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and hisclothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared beforethem Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. 4 Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it isgood for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters-- one foryou, one for Moses and one for Elijah." 5 While he was still speaking, abright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud
  • Mount Of Transfiguration said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen tohim!" 6 When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to theground, terrified. 7 But Jesus came and touched them. "Get up," he said."Dont be afraid." 8 When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus. 9As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, "Donttell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised fromthe dead." 10 The disciples asked him, "Why then do the teachers of thelaw say that Elijah must come first?" 11 Jesus replied, "To be sure, Elijahcomes [“is coming” NAU] and will restore all things. 12 But I tell you, Elijahhas already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to himeverything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to sufferat their hands." 13 Then the disciples understood that he was talking tothem about John the Baptist.
  • Many Christians Fail ToUnderstand Their Position“In Christ” and Try To PutThemselves Back UnderThe Law.
  • Even Peter Did Several times; Matt 17:25-27 Galatians 2
  • "Then the sons are exempt" Matt 17:25-27…Jesus was the first to speak. "What doyou think, Simon?" he asked. "From whom do the kings ofthe earth collect duty and taxes — from their own sons orfrom others?" 26 "From others," Peter answered. "Then the sons are exempt," Jesus said to him. 27 "But sothat we may not offend them, go to the lake and throwout your line.
  • I no longer call you servants John 15:14-16 You are my friends if you do what Icommand. 15 I no longer call you servants [doulos], becausea servant does not know his masters business. Instead, Ihave called you friends, for everything that I learned frommy Father I have made known to you. Matt 8:12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrownoutside, into the darkness, where there will be weepingand gnashing of teeth.“ doulos {doo-los}, Meaning: 1) a slave, bondman, man ofservile condition
  • So What Are We Called Romans 4:14 For if those who live by law are heirs, faithhas no value and the promise is worthless, Romans 8:17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ… 1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, andeach one of you is a part of it. Revelation 19:7 …For the wedding of the Lamb hascome, and his bride has made herself ready. Matthew 28:10…Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee;there they will see me.“
  • I no longer call you servants Romans 8:29 For those God foreknew he also predestinedto be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he mightbe the firstborn among many brothers. Hebrews 2:11 Both the one who makes men holy andthose who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesusis not ashamed to call them brothers.
  • What Will Christ’sFollowers Be Doing InThe Kingdom?
  • Judging the twelve tribes of Israel Luke 22:29-30 And I confer on you a kingdom, just as myFather conferred one on me, 30 so that you may eat anddrink at my table in my kingdom and sit onthrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
  • When Did Jesus Say It Was? Jesus indicated that the Kingdom was then present. He also indicated that the Kingdom was yet future. And He didn’t rebuke the disciples when they asked if Hewas going to “restore” the Kingdom, indicating it also waspast, but not then present.
  • Jesus indicated the Kingdom waspresent at His time and ministry Matt 10:7 As you go, preach this message: The kingdomof heaven is near.‘ Matt 12:28 But if I drive out demons by the Spirit ofGod, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matt 21:31…the prostitutes are entering the kingdom ofGod ahead of you [the chief priests and the elders]
  • Jesus Also Indicated theKingdom Was Yet Future
  • Future: Until that day…in myFathers kingdom Matt 26:29 I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of thevine from now on until that day when I drink it anew withyou in my Fathers kingdom ." Matt 5:19-20 Anyone who breaks one of the least ofthese commandments and teaches others to do the samewill be called least in the kingdom of heaven, butwhoever practices and teaches these commands will becalled great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell youthat unless your righteousness surpasses that of thePharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainlynot enter the kingdom of heaven.
  • Future Kingdom Matt 18:3 And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you[the disciples] change and become like little children, youwill never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matt 20:21….She said, "Grant that one of these two sonsof mine may sit at your right and the other at your left inyour kingdom ."
  • Past Kingdom Matt 21:43-44 Therefore I tell you that the kingdom ofGod will be taken away from you and given to a peoplewho will produce its fruit. Acts 1:6 So when they met together, they askedhim, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore thekingdom to Israel?"
  • Where Did Jesus Say It Was? Will the Kingdom be located in Jerusalem, Israel? Or is the Kingdom of God located within us?
  • Where Did Jesus Say It Was? Here’sThe Problem. Luke 17:20 Once, having been asked by the Phariseeswhen the kingdom of God would come, Jesusreplied, "The kingdom of God does not come with yourcareful observation,21 nor will people say, Here it is, orThere it is, because the kingdom of God is within you.“NIV Luke 17:21 …the kingdom of God is within you. KJV
  • Where Did Jesus Say It Was? Luke 17:20-21 Now having been questioned by thePharisees as to when the kingdom of God wascoming, He answered them and said, "The kingdom ofGod is not coming with signs to be observed; 21 nor willthey say, Look, here it is! or, There it is! For behold, thekingdom of God is in your midst ." NASU [or within you] Luke 17:21…the kingdom of God is within [or among]you." NIV A huge disservice has been done by mistranslating it.
  • Here’s The Problem. “Entos” preposition genitive [UBS] entos prep. with gen. within, in the midst of, among; to’e’ what is inside, contents (of a cup) DLK added this below; The question is, “What did Jesus mean? Each individual thatHe was speaking to was the “cup”? Or the group of men thatHe was standing “in the midst of”? Did Jesus mean the Kingdom would just bespiritual, within your body? Or that He was King of theKingdom, among them?
  • Here’s The Problem. [UBS] entos prep. with gen. within, in the midstof, among; to’ e’ what is inside, contents (of a cup) CSB Luke 17:21...the kingdom of God is among you." ESV...the kingdom of God is in the midst of you." NAU NAS NET...the kingdom of God is in your [plural]midst." YLT KJV NKJ...the kingdom of God is within you."
  • “Entos” Is The Problem ἐντὸς preposition genitive from ἐντός [GING] ἐντόςἐντός functions as prep. w. gen. inside, within τὸ ἐντόςthe inside Mt 23:26. In Lk 17:21 ἐ. ὑμῶν may be withinyou, in your hearts or among you, in your midst.*[ento-, combining form, as in entoderm] [pg 67] DLK added this below; BGT Luke 17:21 … ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ ἐντὸς ὑμῶνἐστιν. The “you/your”, ὑμῶν pronoun personal genitiveplural from σύ
  • Where Did Jesus Say It Was?Context is everything!!!!! Luke 17:20-21 Now having been questioned by thePharisees as to when the kingdom of God wascoming, He answered them… Jesus isn’t speaking to the church telling the church thatthe Kingdom is in our heart. He is telling the Jews that theKing is here, right here, right now.
  • So If We’re Not Living InThe Kingdom Of GodNow,Who’s Kingdom Is This?
  • Who’s Kingdom Is This? Ephesians 2:2 in which you used to live when youfollowed the ways of this world and of the ruler of thekingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in thosewho are disobedient. 2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded theminds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light ofthe gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
  • Who’s Kingdom Is This? John 8:23 But he continued, "You are from below; I amfrom above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. John 18:36-37 Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of thisworld. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent myarrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from anotherplace." 37 "You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesusanswered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, forthis reason I was born, and for this I came into theworld, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side oftruth listens to me."
  • Who’s Kingdom Is This? Galatians 1:3-4 …the Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gavehimself for our sins to rescue us from the present evilage… Matthew 4:8-9 Again, the devil took him to a very highmountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the worldand their splendor. 9 "All this I will give you," he said, "ifyou will bow down and worship me.“ John 16:11…the prince of this world… 1 John 5:19…the whole world is under the control of theevil one.
  • God is Absolutely Sovereign. 2 Kings 19:15 …you alone are God over all the kingdomsof the earth. You have made heaven and earth. Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from thewill of your Father. Matthew 10:30 And even the very hairs of your head areall numbered.
  • God Owns It All Ps 24:1 The earth is the LORDs, and everything in it, theworld, and all who live in it; Isa 66:1 This is what the LORD says: "Heaven is mythrone, and the earth is my footstool. 1 Cor 10:26…"The earth is the Lords, and everything init."
  • God Owns It All But God has a very bad tenant.
  • 2 Uses By Paul of “Kingdom” Rom 14:17-18 For the kingdom of God is not a matter ofeating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joyin the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ inthis way is pleasing to God and approved by men. *The “is” is indicative present active] 1 Cor 4:20-21 For the kingdom of God is not a matter oftalk but of power. 21 What do you prefer? Shall I come toyou with a whip, or in love and with a gentle spirit?
  • There Is Now A “Kingdom” In Heaven Rom 14:17-18 For the kingdom of God is … The “is” is “present active”, existing now, not onearth, but in heaven. Philippians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, fromwhich also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord JesusChrist; 21 who will transform the body of our humblestate into conformity with the body of His glory, by theexertion of the power that He has even to subject allthings to Himself. 2 Corinthians 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors forChrist… [we’re foreigners, not part of this kingdom]
  • In Conclusion Many Christians believe this “evil age” is the kingdom. Many Christians don’t believe in a literal kingdom. Many Christians believe this is the kingdom and this is asgood as it gets unless we take over the government. Some say they are “bringing in the kingdom.” In all this confusion should we refer to Christianity as “theKingdom”? Or would it be wise to the use N.T. names forus?
  • The New Testament calls us Jesus called His followers “the sons”, “my friends”, “mybrothers” and “my church”. The New Testament calls us “heirs of God” and “co-heirswith Christ”, “the body of Christ”, his“bride”, “brothers”, “the church”, “Jesus followers”, “afollower of the Way,” and “the church of God”. When someone says “the kingdom” ask them what theymean, define your terms. When dealing with the cultsdefine them all. They may mean the “Kingdom Hall”.
  • Thy kingdom come.Rev 22:20-21He who testifies to these thingssays, "Yes, I am coming soon."Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be withGods people. Amen.
  • Dangers Of Wealth One of the dangers of having a lot of money is that youmay be quite satisfied with the kinds of happinessmoney can give and so fail to realize your need forGod. If everything seems to come simply by signingchecks, you may forget that you are at every momenttotally dependent on God. C. S. Lewis Matthew 6:24 …You cannot serve God and wealth. Matthew 13:22 …the deceitfulness of wealth choke theword, and it becomes unfruitful.
  • Mat 6:6, Conversation UnderWraps Matthew 6:6 "But you, when you pray, go into your innerroom, close your door and pray to your Father who is insecret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret willreward you. Ann Musico in “Heart to Heart” said, “I recently prayedwith my 5-year-old son as he accepted Jesus into his life. Icarefully explained that Jesus now lived in his heart. Several days later, he was sitting at the table with his headdown, holding open the neck of his T-shirt, speaking veryquietly. I asked what he was doing and he told me, "Just talking to Jesus.“
  • Matthew 6:9 A Sunday School teacher began her lesson with aquestion, "Boys andgirls, what do we know about God?" > A hand shot upin the air. "He is an artist!" said the kindergarten boy."Really? How do you know?" the teacher asked. > "Youknow - Our Father, who does art in Heaven... "
  •  Matthew 6:9 "Pray, then, in this way: Our Father whois in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Howard be thy name?
  • Matthew 6:28 Matthew 6:28 "And why are you worried aboutclothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; theydo not toil nor do they spin,
  • Matthew 6:9-13 James 11 Thessalonians 5:17 QUESTION FOR THE DAY Dear Compass, Concerning a previous GML where you said that continual confessionof sins is not necessary because of Jesus work on the cross, how wouldyou explain the Lords prayer? In Matthew 6:12, Jesus prayed, "Forgiveus our sins, as we also have forgiven those who sin against us." Doesntthe Lords prayer still apply to us as believers today?ANSWER: The Lords Prayer was given to the Jews, living under the law, as a"model" prayer—telling them to "pray . . . in this way." It was neverintended to be words, quoted over and over, as Jesus warned two versesearlier not to let prayer become "meaningless repetition." And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as theGentiles do. —Matthew 6:7Pray, then, in this way:
  • Dangers Of Wealth One of the dangers of having a lot of money is that youmay be quite satisfied with the kinds of happinessmoney can give and so fail to realize your need forGod. • John 17:1-26 Matthew 6:5-13, Prayer The self-sufficient does not pray, the self satisfied will notpray, the self-righteous cannot pray. No man is greaterthan his prayer life. Leonard Ravenhill Pray Early, Pray Often Our 4-year-old daughters surgery was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. We were becominganxious as time passed and no one came to get her. Finally at 12:30, the surgeonarrived at her room. Knowing my husband is a minister, the doctor asked us ifmany people were praying for this surgery. Edgy from the delay, I said, "They were praying for you an hour ago." With a smile, he shot back, "Thanks. That surgery went very well." —Marcia Hornor, Salt Lake City, Utah. "Lite Fare," Christian Reader.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:18 Matthew 6:19-20 Colossians 3:2 Today is February 20, 2013, Verse of the Day -- Colossians 3:2 Set your mind onthe things above, not on the things that are on earth. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Concentrate on the eternal, not the temporal. MINI BIBLE STUDY FOR THE DAY In this verse, Paul was not teaching us to dislike material things. Every physicalthing created by God, including the body and sex, is good. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it isreceived with gratitude —1 Timothy 4:4 God saw all that He had made, andbehold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, thesixth day. —Genesis 1:31 Rather, Paul was warning us to always set affections on His eternal glory andthings that last beyond our lifetime. Do not lay up for yourselves treasures upon earth . . . but lay up for yourselvestreasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves donot break in or steal. — Matthew 6:19-20 . . . we do not look at the things whichare seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen aretemporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. —2 Corinthians 4:18
  • Job 1:6 Zechariah 3:1 Matthew 16:23 Mark 3:23 Luke11:18 Acts 26:18 2 Corinthians 2:11 1 Thessalonians 2:181 Timothy 1:20 Romans 16:20 1 Chronicles 21:1=1stmention, Satan QUESTION FOR THE DAY Dear Compass, Where does Satan live and what does he look like? If he lives in hell, why should we be concerned about him?ANSWER: Satan does not have a red tail and live in hell. In fact, just the opposite. Satan is: The "god of this world."in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who isthe image of God. —2 Corinthians 4:4 Actively accusing us before the Lord day and night. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authorityof His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. —Revelation 12:10 When he is finally revealed for all the world to see, the world will marvel at his wisdom and beauty: Full of wisdom, perfect in beauty . . . wisdom . . . splendor. —Ezekiel 28:12Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. —Ezekiel 28:17 Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms? —Isaiah 14:16 He presently resides in the air: . . . the prince of the power of the air. —Ephesians 2:2. . . spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. —Ephesians 6:12 But dont confuse "heavenly places" with the part of heaven where God resides. Satan was kicked out of the highest realm, the third heaven where God resides, prior to Adamsfall. By the abundance of your tradeYou were internally filled with violence,And you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profaneFrom the mountain of God.And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub,From the midst of the stones of fire. —Ezekiel 28:16See also 2 Corinthains 12:2.Hell is where Satan will eventually end up, a special place designed just for him: . . . the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels. —Matthew 25:41He is a formidable foe as he prowls the earth "seeking someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8).Fortunately, born-again believers have a great advantage, if they choose to use it: . . . greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (Greater is Jesus who is in you than Satan who is in the world.) —1 John 4:4Additional resource for this GML:SatansBig Six - Mike Gendronhttp://www.compass.org/store/categories/Steeling-The-Mind-Speakers/Mike-Gendron/Satans Strategies for Your Heart and Mind - Ed Hindsonhttp://www.compass.org/store/categories/Steeling-The-Mind-Speakers/Ed-Hindson/ Satans Top Two Cults - James Walkerhttp://www.compass.org/store/categories/Steeling-The-Mind-Speakers/James-Walker/About Compass...
  • Matthew 6:16 Romans 8:28Philippians 3:13, No Gloomy Faces Today is March 22, 2013 Verse of the Day -- Matthew 6:16 . . . do notput on a gloomy face . . . THOUGHT FOR THE DAY If youre going to heaven, act like it! MINI BIBLE STUDY FOR THE DAY Too often Christians take on the countenance of the world: a look ofdefeat and no hope. Of course, were not defeated and we have greathope for the future. Even if things are going badly, we can continue tomove forward, putting the past behind us and resting in the fact thatGod is allowing everything in our lives for His purpose: . . . forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what liesahead. —Philippians 3:13 . . . God causes all things to work together forgood to those who love God. —Romans 8:28 As we daily represent the God of the universe, knowing what He hasdone in our lives, we should wear the opposite of a gloomy face!
  • Matt 6:9-13, KJVAfter this manner therefore pray ye:Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thineis the kingdom , and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
