  • 1.  Explain the methods to apply filter.
  • 2. In This Chapter, you’ll learn on:  Identify filters which create various effects such as o Bevelling o Embossing o Texture
  • 3.  Various Filter Effects  Despite the fact that you can apply filter via the Menu > Filter, you can also achieved other filter effects by accessing the blending options of the layers.
  • 4.  Various Filter Effects  To access the Blending options, right click on the layer and select “Blending Options”. One of the most common filters or effects that you will achieve would be Bevel and Emboss. Do explore the other effects that you can create under the blending options.
  • 5.  Various Filter Effects  Bevel Effect
  • 6.  Various Filter Effects  Emboss  The other effect that you can achieved from choosing Pillow Emboss or Stroke Emboss
  • 7.  Various Filter Effects  Texture  Apart from just bevel and emboss, you can also add texture to the layer to create a totally different effect.
