I recommend the following shapechoicesExperiment with them. It takespractise to use them well. If the shape you are after doesn’t appear click on the arrow at the end to customise the toobar.
This curve shape is very flexible it will enable you to drawdiminishing returns, bell shapes, growth curves to name a few n.b. taken from Open Office help

Final Words ! Experiment and practise once you get the hang of it drawing shapes are very easy to use and can give you exactly the curve you are looking for ! Don’t bother looking for a way to rotate shapes - there isn’t one. Though it would be a nice feature it’s not a deal breaker and you can work without it.
