    • Spelling Activities Type in your spelling words. Check them carefully. Make sure you type your words in for each activity. Name: Term: Week:
    • Type or write the words 4 times 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
    • Word Meanings Spelling Word Definition/Meaning 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 What do your words mean? Use the dictionary to find and record the definition for each word.
    • Sentences Spelling Word Interesting Sentence 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Write an interesting sentence for each of your spelling words.
    • Wordfind Organise your words into the grid. They can go forward, backward, up, down or diagonally. Fill up the rest of the squares with random letters Words
    • Word Endings Organise your words into columns according to their word endings (suffixes)
    • Syllables/Chunks One Two Three Four Five How many syllables are there in each word? Type the word separating into the correct columns
    • Rhyming Words How many of your words can you find rhyming words for? Record your word and then make as many rhyming words underneath.
    • Synonyms Choose 5 of your list words. Use a thesaurus to help you find as many words as you can that have the SAME or SIMILAR meaning as your spelling word.
    • Antonyms Choose 5 of your list words. Use a thesaurus to help you find as many words as you can that have the OPPOSITE meaning to your spelling word.
