Sims 3 The Wards (part 18) Sims 3 The Wards (part 18) Presentation Transcript

    • The Wards: Barnacle Bay
      (part 18)
    • That evening, Sephora arrives home and carries Zawadi into the bedroom to get her ready for bed. Sephora’s breath suddenly stops in her chest. Her heart begins to pound. Out of the corner of her eye…she sees something outside Zawadi’s window.
    • “I didn’t just see that.” Sephora says when she is finally able to breathe again. As she changes Zawadi into pajamas, Zawadi continues to stare out the window. “Do you see something?” Sephora asks, afraid to look with her heart still beating out of her chest. Sephora sneaks a peek. She’s relieved that nothing is there. Her pulse slowly calms. She attempts to put it out of her mind. “Now I know I’m crazy!” She says.
    • The next morning, Sephora wakes up and takes care of her normal duties. She feeds Zawadi and cleans the kitchen.
    • She then heads outside to take care of a few overdue bills.
    • Finally she takes care of her garden.
    • Miles wakes up, happy to try out his recent splurge - a new electric guitar.
    • Miles tries it out. There’s no describing the difference in sound. “Now I’m a professional,” he tells himself.
    • Sephora had a tough time sleeping last night, still spooked by what she thinks she saw outside Zawadi’s window. Sephora doesn’t know if she was hallucinating or if she actually saw a real ghost. Either way, if she tells someone, she runs the risk of being committed.
    • Sephora’s fear actually draws tears from her eyes. “I’m not crazy…I’m not crazy…” she repeats as if that makes it so.
    • Miles arrives at the park planning on playing for tips. When he arrives he discovers that another musician has encroached into his “territory”.
    • Rather than become upset, he sets up next to her and plays along. “This girl really knows her way around a guitar,” he says to himself when he finds that he’s practically breaking a sweat in order to keep up with her.
    • At home, Sephora is relieved when Zawadi begins whining and rubbing her eyes. Sephora has some sleep to catch up on and would love to nap while Zawadi is napping.
    • She places Zawadi in the crib and turns off Zawadi’s music box that she doesn’t remember ever turning on. “I’m not crazy,” she whispers one more time, before she places the box back down on the table.
    • Sephora chalks it all up to being tired and once again puts it out of her mind. She lies down on the bed and quickly drifts off to sleep.
    • Miles just has to know who this girl is. He stops playing and beckons her to do the same. He introduces himself. Her name is Patti Abe. A strange thought suddenly runs across Miles’ mind; he would love to see Patti nude in a hot tub. Miles feels that his thoughts are betraying him, because he hasn’t thought this way about another woman since he and Sephora married.
    • If Miles was thinking clearly, he would probably have left it at that. Instead he goes on about how great Patti plays. “You really know how to play. I can see that you work as a repairman, but have you ever thought about starting a band?”
    • “Not really. I just started coming out here to play from time to time, between jobs. I’ve been making a little extra money from tips.”
    • “Well you are one of the best musicians I’ve heard in a while.” “Thanks,” Patti says clearly flattered.
    • “How would you feel about us starting a band together? We can make more money as a band, not this nickel and diming we’re doing out here.”
    • “I don’t know. I never thought about it. There’s a lot we’d have to do. We’d need a name.”
    • Miles thinks back on his earlier thought. “I think I have the perfect name…what about the ‘Skinny Dippers’?”
    • Patti glances down to Miles’ ring finger. “How would your wife feel about that?”
    • “Who? Sephora? Oh she’s very supportive. She’ll be fine with it.”Patti thinks about it. “I don’t know…”
    • Patti stops for a while, weighing the pros and cons in her mind. “You know what…let’s do it! The Skinny Dippers it is!” She says.
    • Miles is thrilled about the potential success that he can have with his own band.
    • “So are you sure that you’re wife will be OK with this?” Patti says in a flirty voice.
    • “What? If this is going to work, we’re going to have to keep it strictly professional!” Miles objects.
    • “Don’t worry Miles, I was just testing the waters to see where you’re head is at. I have no interests in you – this is strictly professional…
    • …Well, gotta go. I have a job. See you later,” Patti says before running off.Miles is relieved.
    • Miles changes and heads to work imagining Sephora punching Patti in the mouth for that flirtatious move. Maybe he should have run this by Sephora first?
