  • A word about getting accepted to top schools In any given year, an Ivy type school will reject 70% of students who apply with SAT's over 1400. Also, students who apply to the top schools usually have all A's. 60% don't get in. Therefore, when applying to very competitive colleges, ALWAYS have a plan B. 15
