Slide 1: EMBEDDING PRESENTATIONS INTO WIKISPACES A Quick How-To

Slide 2: Step 1: Save the Presentation Create and save your presentation. Power Point: Save as... , save to desktop. Keynote: Export, choose PDF or Power Point, save to desktop.

Slide 3: Step 2: Upload to Slideshare Navigate to http://slideshare.net Click “Upload”.

Slide 4: Step 2: Upload to Slideshare Click “Browse and select files...” Find your file on your computer and click “Select”.

Slide 5: Step 2: Upload to Slideshare When it has uploaded, fill out the information in the boxes and click “Publish”.

Slide 6: Step 2: Upload to Slideshare Slideshare will take a few minutes to convert your file, so be patient as you see this screen: Click where it says “here” to see its status.

Slide 7: Step 2: Upload to Slideshare When your file is ready, click the link to the title of your presentation.

Slide 8: Step 2: Upload to Slideshare Then, to the right of your presentation, click the text in the box that says “Embed in your blog” to select the code. Copy the HTML code.

Slide 9: Step 3: Embed into Wikispaces Navigate to your wikispace page. Click the “Edit this Page” button. Select the TV icon from the Editor bar.

Slide 10: Step 3: Embed into Wikispaces Select “Other HTML”. Paste the HTML code into the box and click “Save”. Click “Save” again to save the wiki page.
