When I’m old, not like I used to be …
Understand me,
Be patient with me

When I spilled the soup at my clothes , When I couldn’t remember how to tied my shoelace,
Remember the time when I taught and guided you how to do that

When I senile and continuously repeating the same things that make you bored …
Be patient and listen to what I said,
do not interrupt my story
Do you remember in your childhood , I must repeat on a same story that I already told you a thousand times until you fall asleep

When I need you to help me taken a bath …
Do not blame on me
Do you remember in your childhood,
how many ways I have to encourage you to take a shower

When I confused in facing all new things and modern technology …
Do not laugh at me
Remember on how I patiently answered
every “WHY” that you asked at that moment

When my leg is too weak to walk …
Give your young and strong hand to support me
Like in your childhood,
I assist you to take on your first step and learn to walk

When I suddenly forget what is our conversation’s topic …
Give me some time to remember it
The truth is not the topic that matter to me, as long as you
stay beside me, listen to me, I’m already happy

When you saw me getting older, do not feel sad ..
Understand and give me your support
Like I care and always be there for you,
When you begin to learn about this life

In your childhood, I always there accompany you walk your pathway of life Now, accompany me until my life journey ended . . .Give me your love and patient, I’ll accept it with my grateful smile
Within my smile, embedded my endless love only for you, my beloved child.
