Getting Started with Your New FreeToast Host 2.0 Club Website

This Slide Presentation is based on screen shots I took (8/23/2011)while setting up a club website for a new club which did not have a previous website.This is NOT a comprehensive set up guide, but highlights many of the set up elements. Good luck!

Email confirmation you receive

Login as Site Administrator

Login as Site Administrator
Only took me 6 tries!
I messed up the club number and the password (several times).
I had to take the leading zero off the club number.

Launch the Admin Console

Admin Console—Drop Down Box

Change Your Admin Password

Change Your Website Name –Website Alias
(replaces the club number in the web address)

Describe your website and
Pick your Color Theme (see next 3 slides)

Add Content—hover over the buttons for a description of what they do

Add Members—Drop Down Box “Membership Management”

Get Member Roster from TI site

Export to Excel or Do “Manually”
Name, TM Designations email phone
Example:
Diane Windingland, DTM toastmasterdiane@aol.com 612-306-1234
(no spaces in phone number)

Assign Officer, Guest, Former Member Status (Member Status is default)
Hit save after each person (unless just a member)

Let Your Members Know!
You have to send each welcome message one at a time. Click “Save” to send.

Contact, Meeting Info+-- Default Web Pages in the Drop Down Box

Update your Club Meeting information at TI

Put in Your New Website

Check Your Listing in “Find a Club”
(give it a little time)

Meeting Agenda:
Drop Down Box: Meeting Agenda Settings
Use this to set up your typical agenda format

Creating a Specific Meeting Agenda, using your previous settings: Go to Home page and select “Create New”

To Create an agenda for a specific meeting, click on the “+” button

To EDIT an agenda (and assign roles) for a specific meeting, click on the pencil button

To assign roles, click on the drop down box
