      • To be aware of multiple perspectives on the issue/idea.
      • To focus on metacognitive strategies.
      • To lead to more creative thinking.
      • To improve interpersonal communication.
      • To strengthen teamwork/groupwork, etc.

    • De Bono’s Six Thinking Hats(A Decision-making Model)
      HOW?
      • Six hats of different colours (White, Black, Red, Yellow, Green and Blue) represent different aspects of thinking on the same issue/idea.
      • All the groups are working at the same time (improve participation and engagement).
      • The Blue hat group will collect all the information from the other groups, think and then make a decision.
