MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 BRIEF BUILDING DESCRIPTION Lisbon’s Municipality main office building is located in Entrecampos and started to function in 1998, serving both as administrative office and public attending services.

MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 BRIEF BUILDING DESCRIPTION - approximately 1800 employees; - approximately 200 daily visits; - constituted by 6 blocs, all interconnected; - working hours from 7 am to 11 pm; - total area above the ground: 28.000 sqm; - total area under the ground : 17.000 sqm; - useful area for working places: 18.000 sqm

MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 BRIEF BUILDING DESCRIPTION - 25.000€ monthly electricity bill - Electricity consumption: 3491 MWh/year; - 250€ monthly gas bill; - Natural gas consumption: 327 MWh/year; - According to the Air Conditioning Energy Systems Regulation the building’s energy class is B-, with an average consumption of 50kWh/sqm.year.

Mobility Plan Mobility matrix for the building users: Identification of sustainable mobility strategies: smart work centres; teleconference betweens users, carsharing, online information on public transports User Behaviour Change: SAVE ENERGY project Involve the building’s users and promote a dissemination campaign on good practices, influencing their energy consumption pattern;

MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 THE SAVE ENERGY PROJECT TASKS IN LISBON Task 1 Definition of Pilot Areas Focus in the Municipality 1st floor, section B, active promotion of users behaviour change. Municipality 2nd floor, section B, will also be monitored for control. Task 2 Energy Audit -The current Municipality energy information is for the whole building only, performed with 2007 data, 50kWh/sqm; -There is the ability to provide a breakdown assessment to the energy consumption of different blocs within each floor. This assessment will be made during the first two months of the monitoring equipment implementation. -The acclimatization and elevators systems are centralized. No breakdown is possible for the areas under analysis.

MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 THE SAVE ENERGY PROJECT TASKS IN LISBON Task 3 Technical Solution Design - ISA is responsible for setting Lisbon’s project solution; - The monitoring equipments were already identified and presented to the Municipality; - First check of compliance with the existing conditions for monitoring in the selected areas; - Final monitoring architecture solution is being prepared and should be validated in the field. The communication/interaction model with the users needs to be precisely defined. Public display meters with online data and individual contact. Task 4 Identification of Equipment - ISA presented some of it’s equipments: iPlugMeter; iMeterRail; iPoint; iDisplayMeter How will the Nokia Home Control Unit be included?

MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 MUNICIPALITY’S MAIN OFFICE BUILDING: CAMPO GRANDE 25 THE SAVE ENERGY PROJECT TASKS IN LISBON Task 5 Equipment Installation and Management ISA is responsible for the installation and management of the system. Task 6 Central Data Collection Utilise wireless network within the building for data transfer to the central project server and for the building display. Task 7 Pilot Testing Ensure full functionality and delivery of project objectives prior to full implementation of “live” system. Two periods for data collection: a first period for baseline assessment in both areas, project presentation to the users and afterwards the period of active interaction (1st floor, block B) and monitoring ( 2nd floor, block B).

Municipality staff in the 2nd floor, block B – monitoring control area. Strategy for user engagement – strategy/incentives for user participation and motivation: focus group, workshops, active dissemination Task 10 Training and Documentation Documentation on the SAVE ENERGY objectives and the opportunities for energy consumption reduction through behaviour change.
