CurrentSituation Energy Usage: Electricity: 865379 kWh Gas: 154239 nm3 Energy Auditperformed in 2007 resulted in numeroustechnicalsolutionsforenergy efficiency. Due to monumental status, most physicalchanges to the building are notallowed!
Experimental Design Constraints: No physicalchanges to the building Fit within the budget from project proposal The experiment in the Save Energy Project: 5 rooms equippedwith sensors 1 room is reference; 4 rooms willbeinfluenced: Screenswithactualusage Informationon the portal Serious Game Experimental User Group: 5 backoffice rooms with 2 employees
Implementation Sensor Plan Per room: Temperature sensors (room temperature, temperature of the heating) Electricity sensors (forevery major device)
Next Steps Implementation Train / inform the employees Analysis Data Mining
Open Challenges How to reward / stimulate the users to uselessenergy.
