    • Sport often assumed to be harmful to academic outcomes.
    • Sport has a positive effect on educational results.

    • Athletic Participation is associated with a one percent increase in Math and science test scores.
    • Athletic Participation is associated with a one percent increase in General test scores.

    • 36% of high school students meet the current recommend levels of physical activity

    • All five studies clearly demonstrated that physical activity does not need to be sacrificed for academic excellence.
