    This module shows how to insert a picture in a shape.

    Select a shape from the menu.

    Find a picture that you want. This can be from your own library of pictures or you can source it from some sites such as Microsoft or iStockphoto. Before using images from other sources be aware of any copyright restrictions.

    Right click the shape and chose Format Shape. The Format Shape dialog box will appear. From the menu list on the left chose Fill and the Fill section on the right will have more options to choose from. Click on the Picture or texture fill radio button. Then click the file button to bring up the Insert Picture dialog box.

    In the Insert Picture dialog box find the image you want. Click the image and click the Insert button. The image will appear in the shape and you can resize the shape to your preference.

    2. Choose a Shape
      • From the Insert Tab, choose Shapes .
      • Click on a shape to use. The cursor turns into a “+”.
      • Hold the left mouse button and drag the chosen shape the area you want.
    3. Find a Picture
      • Various sources for images
        • Microsoft (free)
          • http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/clipart/default.aspx
        • Stock.XCHNG (free)
          • http://www.sxc.hu/
        • iStockphoto (pay)
          • http://www.istockphoto.com/index.php
    4. Insert the Picture into the Shape
      • Right click the shape and chose Format Shape .
      • In the Format Shape dialog box chose Fill from the menu.
      • Click the Picture or texture fill radio button.
      • Click the File button and the Insert Picture dialog box appears

      • Choose your picture and click the Insert button.
      • Click on the image to resize to your preference.
