David Gurteen commented on Using Social Tools to build informal communities Karen, start with the "business outcome" is really just an application of Stephen Covey’s 2nd habit "begin with the end in mind" and the "end" could simply be to learn as you say but I’d much rather have the reason for learning in mind i.e. why do we wish to learn ... is this the outcome or is there something deeper :-) To my mind most KM initiatives fail - indeed any initiative because insufficient attention has been placed on the outcome :-) ... pleased you liked the slides :-) David 3 months ago
