    Hello my name is David F. Flanders. I currently work at Birkbeck College, University of London. Most recently I have been working on behalf of The Bloomsbury Colleges consortium (which includes Birkbeck) on a series of JISC funded projects that produce innovate tools and solutions for Academia. Previously, I have worked with the British Library and other software development companies on technologies such as ‘Turning the Pages’ and other forward thinking digital library initiatives. This presentation will attempt to explain repositories, their applicability to Higher and Further Education and what must be done if repositories are to be a success in our modern information filled world (and all within XX minutes) By the end of the presentation I hope you will have a basic understanding of how a repository must grow and change in the next five years.
