The two main reasons why companies acquire the use of recruiting, staffing, and executive search firms...THEY SAVE TIME AND THEY SAVE MONEY.

I mean, lets be honest. Most companies have an internal recruiting department who can find talent for their open positions, by scouring the job boards, social media communities, and using their internal employee referral programs. Yet, they still choose to outsource a piece or all of their recruiting and staffing function because it saves time, and saving time means saving money.

Now in the recent past, companies have used the services of "generalist" recruiting and staffing firms who cover a variety of positions in a variety of industries, and the benefit was having a great pool of talent typically in a more broader scope. That became a trend when starting a recruiting and staffing business because people saw a level of success and that's great!

However, companies also experienced a number of drawbacks when working with generalist recruiting and staffing firms which included waiting longer time periods for recruited talent and a lack of "the best talent" because the best talent flocked to companies that catered to their specialization.
