Free Northwestern • Students should experientially learn about civic engagement by legislating and administering their own policies. • Student government needs to be given real power to affect the university. • Authoritarian disciplinary procedures are ineffective, dangerous, and disenfranchise students.     33. 33. Student Enterprise • NU’s local area is the best place for students to learn about business organization, and entrepreneurship. Students should: • Run campus businesses. • Assist businesses and non-profits in Evanston. • Independently develop their ideas with the goal of leaving NU self-employed.
