    Notes on slide 1

    Circle, Square, Triangle, Z

-who isn't clear of their vision? -who doesn't have a plan? -Who is concerned that even with V and P you won't get where you deserve to go!? -why do you want to be great? -we know what we want but we don't fulfill that for a number of reasons... - ask for examples (weight, others) -what do you fear you will not do before you pass out of this world? In tough times, people are parking their dreams; they’re underliving their lives. You don’t have to – instead, focus on the one resource that’s available, with no bank to get in your way…

    - KF tell his story 4 years ago – everyone thought I was this guy. -Q

This was me, drowning in the deep end of the pool – but we all do this by thinking we have to go it alone.

Trends toward virtualization Middle management dying Water cooler training no longer guaranteed; loss of learning model We were researching that, knowing we needed a new model

-Gallup’s research and others showing need for social bonds emerging – at the same time that these social bonds are under stress -HBR study of the 55 highest performing teams and engagement -Jamie Dimon, and other relationship-oriented corporate leaders

-GRG research into peer support models: executive peer forums like YPO, WW, 12 step -Its in our DNA – tribal evolution -Story of Jean Nidetch

Lifeline relationships: Care Pick you up Tell you the truth Kick you in the butt Never let you fail -who in your life does that?

It’s a choice: we need to create a safe space Vulnerable.. not perfect Generous.. not self centered Candid.. not Polite Accountable.. "Not my job“ These are the critical mindsets needed to create and nourish lifeline relationships, the keys to tranformation. Without the mindsets, you won’t be able to create great P2P support.

Intimacy (to the point of vulnerability) and generosity create the foundation and give permission for candor – and all three together make accountability possible. If you don’t bring these mindsets to your relationships If you don’t do this it won’t work True of associates, clients, friends, whatever relationship It doesn’t come naturally to all of us Taste it! Right here. Push the edge of how you begin to embrace these with people
