  • 1. Goldilocks and the Three Bears
  • 2. Once upon a time, there was a little girlnamed Goldilocks.
  • 3. She went for a walk in the forest.
  • 4. Pretty soon, she came upon a house.
  • 5. She knocked and, when no one answered, shewalked right in.
  • 6. At the table in the kitchen, there were three bowls ofporridge. Goldilocks was hungry.
  • 7. She tasted the porridge from the first bowl. "Thisporridge is too hot!" she exclaimed.
  • 8. So, she tasted the porridge from the secondbowl. "This porridge is too cold," she said
  • 9. So, she tasted the last bowl of porridge."Ahhh, this porridge is just right," she said happily andshe ate it all up.
  • 10. After shed eaten the three bears breakfastsshe decided she was feeling a little tired.
  • 11. So, she walked into the living room where shesaw three chairs.
  • 12. Goldilocks sat in the first chair to rest her feet."This chair is too big!" she exclaimed.
  • 13. So she sat in the second chair."This chair is too big, too!" she whined.
  • 14. "Ahhh, this chair is just right," she sighed.
  • 15. But just as she settled down into the chairto rest, it broke into pieces!
  • 16. Goldilocks was very tired by this time, soshe went upstairs to the bedroom.
  • 17. She lay down in the first bed, but it was toohard.
  • 18. Then she lay in the second bed, but itwas too soft.
  • 19. Then she lay down in the third bed and itwas just right.
  • 20. Goldilocks fell asleep.
  • 21. As she was sleeping, the three bearscame home.
  • 22. "Someones been eating my porridge,"growled the Papa bear.
  • 23. "Someones been eating my porridge," said theMama bear.
  • 24. "Someones been eating my porridge and theyate it all up!" cried the Baby bear.
  • 25. "Someones been sitting in mychair," growled the Papa bear.
  • 26. "Someones been sitting in mychair," said the Mama bear.
  • 27. "Someones been sitting in my chair and theyvebroken it all to pieces," cried the Baby bear.
  • 28. They decided to look around some more and when they gotupstairs to the bedroom, Papa bear growled, "Someones beensleeping in my bed,"
  • 29. "Someones been sleeping in my bed, too"said the Mama bear
  • 30. "Someones been sleeping in my bed and shesstill there!" exclaimed Baby bear.
  • 31. Just then, Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears. Shescreamed, "Help!" And she jumped up and ran out of theroom.
  • 32. Goldilocks ran down the stairs, opened the door,and ran away into the forest.
  • 33. And she never returned to the home ofthe three bears.
