In order to gain more traction, GetGlue is obviously going to have to find a way to monetize their service as well as establish and forge their brand deeper into the entertainment realms and fingertips of their demographics. Here's how they can do it.

  4. 4. USER ENGAGEMENT• Monitor user reviews coupled with advocacy email campaigns• Data point thank you’s to users humanizing the org to the user, further emotional connection• User surveys via QR Code or PURL on the back of stickers as well as availability via e-mail campaigns

DRIVE USER GROWTH• Identify brand ambassadors (most active users) & ‘dress’ them for the position • Contest submission by active users & request address as a part of submission • Viral Video in the vein of Wheat Thins : show up at brand ambassador house with stickers & reward (t-shirt, dvds, books, &/or prizes such as tickets to premiere in LA / NY, pictures with the film/tv show stars)• Offer rewards for referrals• Location based activity is not part of the platform currently, however unlocking GetGlue ‘eggs’ as part of a check-in at actual filming locals• Picture submissions via social media are ways to increase the amount of engaged users - nothing like a tagged photo circulating through a network

BRAND AWARENESS• Goodwill campaigning (community alliances) • Have a sticker design contest & sponsor an elementary class attending a film or special tour of the NY Public Library encouraging reading• Fundamental Advertising • Leaderboard advertising within mobile platform (Pepsi) • Print / Online publications with QR to viral video • Cable then Prime Time (targeted by membership saturation levels) • Hulu and associated application as well as Amazon
