  • 3. Do you believe that God can do anything, for anyone, at anytime?
  • 4. Do you pray like it?
  • 5. 1 TIMOTHY 2:1-8
  • 6. First of all, then…
  • 7. In order to accomplish the mission given to us (the charge), we are to pray.
  • 8. SUPPLICATIONS Pleading with God.
  • 9. PRAYERS Coming to God with request.
  • 10. INTERCESSION Coming to God on behalf of another.
  • 11. THANKSGIVINGS Honoring God’s faithfulness.
  • 12. The point here is not to create a checklist of types of prayer, but to underline the need for all types of prayer for all types of peoples.
  • 13. All types of people includes those in power.
  • 14. Do we let our earthly political persuasions interfere with our Kingdom duties?
  • 15. Would you rather vote than pray?
  • 16. What would our culture think about us earnestly praying for our leaders, regardless of who they were?
  • 17. This is good.
  • 18. What is good in the eyes of our salvific God?
  • 19. Prayer for all people.
  • 20. God desires all people to be saved.
  • 21. And this takes place through Godly men praying and sharing the Good News.
  • 22. Why is prayer good in the eyes of a God Who Saves?
  • 23. God saves through our mouths, both in prayer and evangelism.
  • 24. Prayer stirs our hearts to open our mouths and know the will of God in our present time.
  • 25. Men of God do not move forward on calvary steeds, but on bended knees.
  • 26. If we want to see people changed, it doesn't begin with pointing out holes in people's logic, but rather in forming holes in the knees of our pants.
  • 27. But first, a reminder.
  • 28. You are not the mediator.
  • 29. You are used to save others, but you do not save others.
  • 30. Jesus alone saves.
  • 31. Solo Christo.
  • 32. Ransom.
  • 33. The Cross of Christ is sufficient for all people.
  • 34. In every place men should pray.
  • 35. Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17
  • 36. In every place men should pray.
  • 37. At work?
  • 38. Yes.
  • 39. At home?
  • 40. Yes.
  • 41. At church?
  • 42. Yes.
  • 43. At the coffeehouse?
  • 44. Yes.
  • 45. In traffic?
  • 46. Especially in traffic.
  • 47. In every place.
  • 48. Pray in every place, without ceasing.
  • 49. Do people characterize you as a man who prays?
  • 50. Godly men pray like it depends on God and work like it depends on them.
  • 51. A Godly Man carries a Bible in one hand, a trowel in the other, but he moves forward on his knees.
