  • 1. Introducing the Pronto Way The service designed from the ground up with you in mind. “I've never really put much store in the website in the past. It was there as more of a virtual card, nothing more. You already proved me wrong and I haven't even progressed with the newsletter and other content yet. This past week I've had two website driven enquiries. The first I've met and am sending contracts to. They've said they will sign. The second I meet tomorrow. If both of these go through then the extra revenue generated will likely pay for your services for the first year. And presumably this is just the start. If I was wearing a hat I'd eat it I think I'd be reaching for the salt and pepper.” Stuart Sanders Managing Director Business Information Technology Solutions August 15, 2010 © Pronto Marketing 2010 Page 1
  • 2. Meet Pronto Back when I was responsible for Windows SBS at Microsoft I thought a lot about the challenges our smaller partners had with marketing. When, after 12+ years, I left Microsoft I founded Pronto Marketing with the sole focus to help small and mid-sized IT service providers get their marketing in gear. For these I know your To Do list is long, clients come first while updating your website or putting together a newsletter is always something you’ll do “next week”. What Pronto provides is a service to proactively take care of this and more. You might think of us as Managed Services for Marketing. You outsource to us and we do the execution. We are on a journey to create a unique business, that in this industry hasn’t existed before. What Seth Godin calls a “Purple Cow”. Something truly remarkable. Each and every day we listen to our clients, peers, colleagues and mentors and set out to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience for our clients. • 4. Small Businesses increasingly use search to find professional services; your Website is key to moving past consideration. The majority of searchers narrow their consideration sets of possible businesses sharply based on their experience with the search result websites. • When people seek out services companies with whom they have had no prior interaction, a positive online recommendation or a negative review can a crucial deciding factor for a potential client. • 44% of online adults have searched online for information about someone whose services or advice they seek in a professional capacity, like a doctor, lawyer or plumber.” • Most respondents considered 1-5 companies in their research • However 51% only contact one company based on their research experience. “Online reputation matters: 44% of online adults have searched for information about someone whose services or advice they seek in a professional capacity.” http://pewinternet.org/Reports/2010/Reputation-Management/Part-3/Searching-for-others.aspx?r=1 TMP Directional Marketing & comScore Local Search Study, Q1 2007 August 15, 2010 © Pronto Marketing 2010 Page 4
  • 5. The web – site, newsletters, content, is key in shaping opinions • Of businesses looking for professional services, 41% indicated the company website as likely to influence their opinion – second only after personal contact with a firm. • 21% indicated that finding a company in search results influenced their opinion. • 39% indicated white papers and case studies and 13% indicated online webinars as important. • E-mail and Newsletters are the preferred method for ongoing communication. • Overall, online and digital content is the preferred media for communication Online was key both as a driver of opinion and as a delivery method for the broadest range of content sources. • 6. In a nutshell, it’s vital to your business. However, chances are you have neither the time, resources, or inclination to create, manage and maintain an effective online presence – much less a marketing machine. August 15, 2010 © Pronto Marketing 2010 Page 6
  • 7. How we help companies just like yours By providing the time, expertise and execution you’re lacking. August 15, 2010 © Pronto Marketing 2010 Page 7
  • 8. “Derek has a deep understanding of managed service providers and the challenges they face in marketing their services. Derek is able to produce excellent results for us with our website, whitepapers, newsletter and SEO because of his knowledge of our industry. One of the things I admire about Derek is his ability to develop a systematic process for everything his company does, this ensures consistency and reliability in their service delivery. I'm usually waiting for my vendors to catch up with me, so it's rare to find a partner like Derek and Pronto who turns things around so fast that they are usually waiting for me!” Sam Gridley President Integrated Technologies When we set to work with Sam at Intech we didn’t talk about page limits – we talked about Sam’s idea for “Problems we Fix”. For the banners we had over five rounds to get the right casual Hawaii feel to the photos. http://www.intech-hawaii.com/ August 15, 2010 © Pronto Marketing 2010 Page 8
  • 9. “Pronto Marketing has made the process of having a professional actively maintained website simple and affordable.” Curtis R. • 10. “Derek's group Pronto Marketing has really done a fantastic job with our website development. Derek took a complicated process of building a site and made it an easy to work with system, building for us a site to our design specifications. More importantly, he has taken ongoing responsibility for content updates, keeping the site fresh and new. He's engaging, personable, and knowledgeable, and leads a highly engaged team. I highly recommend his work.” Dave Sobel CEO Evolve Technologies Dave had a very specific brand image we worked with. We migrated his existing blog content and dozens of pages of press releases, news articles, videos and more. • 12. “Derek and his team were hired by me to refresh Evolve IT's online presence and marketing strategies. His marketing expertise was evident from the outset given the fact I was compelled to find out more after receiving an EDM piece from him. Derek is committed to working with his customers in partnership rather than simply being a supplier of services. He encourages feedback and is not satisfied until his customer is. Derek operates in a niche market, offering a unique service which adds great value to our company and no doubt to any company like ours.” Clayton Moulynox Business Development Manager Evolve IT It took a few months working closely with Clayton at Evolve IT to get the site he wanted. In the middle he got busy collecting their SBSC Partner of the Year award in the US. Meanwhile we ran with his “Set You Free” idea. http://www.evolveit.com.au August 15, 2010 © Pronto Marketing 2010 Page 12

  • 16. We win with Local SEO Smart Strategy + Tactical Execution We take the time to understand your market and get a strategy to win. For instance a common mistake is to only optimize for the a major city where the search marketing is very competitive. In the case of Bits we made sure we knew where his customers and prospects really are. While winning for Hong Kong may be a long- term goal in the meantime he’s top ranked for all key business areas in Hong Kong – and getting business as a result. • 17. Pronto SEO Kicks-In Methodical Process = Results For every new client as soon as they sign-up we get a snap-shot of their SEO and SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages). In the case of Intelligent Technical Solutions they were not Google ranked for most terms. Their website went live June 11 and quickly climbed in the SERPs. We use the Woorank benchmark report which provides an analysis of over 20 factors in SEO. It is very rare for an IT services site to rate over-50. Most Pronto sites get into the mid-to high 40’s. Most come to us with an existing site in the 20- 30’s range. Live November 24, 2009 ©Pronto Marketing 2009 – Pronto Confidential Page 17

It’s working very well, and we’ve already closed two new accounts, and another 2 in the works. I don’t think it’s even been active for a month yet! They went out of their way to ensure that I was happy and the site was set up the way I wanted it.
