Hand-Colored Photographs Photography 3 students revisited hand-coloring techniques but with a twist! Inspired by Andy Warhol’s Four Marilyns , we explored four color relationships (primary, secondary, tertiary, and monochromatic) with Marshalls Oils and theme of emphasis.

Hand-Colored Photographs While discussing with the students on the four color relationships, I showed them my example of an abstracted painting of a bass player (above). Dividing a photograph into four sections, Jason used tempera paint to abstract his photograph (right).
