      • IR(ME)R 2000 – Ionisation Radiation Regulations
      • FGDP(UK) radiography in general practice (BWg & OPG frequency)
      • NICE (3 rd molars & frequency of recalls)

    • No general anaesthetic in general practice
    • Sedation is conscious and governed by standards and guidelines
    • Patients expect local anaesthetic and temporaries
    • Orthodontics is generally done by specialists and free to children on NHS

    • Amalgam is usually the material of choice in posterior fillings involving the occlusal surface
    • All dentists are expected to take x-rays
    • You will regularly see 25 patients a day
