  • 2. Prepare for the empathy work  People I interviewed ◦ Children 6 to 9 years ◦ Children spend much time at the computer  Questions: ◦ How many hours spent in front of the computer? ◦ What kind of games do they play? ◦ Why do other things? ◦ Do you have parental consent?
  • 3. Go out and talk to people  Interview ◦ The children say they are happy playing ◦ But rather spend time at the computer ◦ Parents are annoyed by the distraction of their children ◦ They do not do their homework on time

  • 8. PROBLEM STATEMENT Children need a way to spend less time on the computer because many parents live the conflict of not knowing how to set limits on their children in relation to the use of Internet and video games.
  • 9. Craft a problem statement  Children who spend more time in front of a screen develop greater emotional difficulties even if they exercise  Children who watchTV or use the computer more than 2 hours a day have more psychological difficulties, but to exercise  Those who spend less time in front of screens have less psychological distress, but not engage in physical activity  Report published in Pediatrics.  PROBLEM: ◦ Facing the new situation that has brought home the incorporation of the computer, many parents live the conflict of not knowing how to set limits on their children in relation to the use of Internet and video games.
