Similarities DifferencesBoth of these magazines The main image of my magazine takes up the whole cover whereas the main image in the otherhave a main single striking one is cut off from the top and the bottom of the magazine. The NME magazine has a header atimage. The masthead of the top showing more artists from inside the magazine my magazine doesn’t have this.the magazines are both inthe top left of the page.The cover lines are both inthe middle of the page oneach magazine, these areboth put across the mainimage and are big andbold and easily visibleupon the backgroundimage. Both of thesemagazines have a footeron them containing artiststhat are from the genre orfrom inside the magazine.Both the barcodes are inthe bottom right along withthe date, issue and price.The magazines both followthe ‘magic c’ with the coverlines that are visible whenstacked on selves. Both ofthese front covers alsocontain a flash whichreveals a competition frominside the magazine. Themagazines both uselimited colours and stick toa basic colour scheme thisis effective as it shows theaudience it is aimed at isnot very young.
