  • Extensive evidence that having experts is good; but experts using analytics is much better. What is an analytical application? The core value of Premier Analytics lies in its ability to pull information from GCS Premier. It allows executives to compare and contrast the data against specific indicators that organizations use to evaluate their performance. The alternative to a financial analytic application is typically the spreadsheet. But reliance on spreadsheets is problematic. In a paper written by business professors from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, researchers examined 25 spreadsheets provided by two consulting companies, a financial services firm, a manufacturing company and an educational institute. They found 117 errors, 60% of which had a quantitative impact – the largest of them, a staggering $100 million.
  • Talk about distribution of shipment across frequent use and infrequent use. Analytics gives advantage when deciding what to pay for the distribution rights to DVDs.
  • AMR’s survey has shown that the number one business challenge for customers is access to the information they need in a format they can understand and the number one benefit customers want from BI is better insight into operational performance. We receive similar feedback from you, our customers. You say “I want to know what’s going on so I can make proactive decisions and improve profitability.” .
