After a roller-coaster career as a pioneer of the smartphone industry - including co-founding Symbian in 1998 - I am now a full-time futurist speaker, analyst, commentator, and writer. Having spent 25 years road-mapping and enabling the rapid growth in capability of smart mobile devices, I expect to spend the next 25 years road-mapping and enabling the emergence of increasingly smart human beings - humans that radically transcend legacy limitations. Both journeys involve many hard obstacles en route.
