    7. A Look at the Weekend to End Breast Cancer & The Princess Margaret Hospital
      • This year 4757 participants walked 60km over two days, raising over 13 million dollars for breast cancer. The money raised benefits the Princess Margaret Hospital, Canada’s leading cancer research centre and among the top five cancer research hospitals in the world. The Princess Margaret has assembled a team of renowned doctors and scientists whose goal in life is to conquer cancer for those suffering now and those to be diagnosed in the future. All of the funds raised for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer support Critical Areas of Support in areas of: research, clinical enhancements, and survivorship.
      • “ I have become a bit cynical over the last few years about people's ability to care for anyone outside their 'inner circle.' This experience has renewed my faith in humanity …” - Tamara Flick-Parker
    8. Dr. Tak Mak of The Campbell Family Institute for breast cancer research
    9. I hope that this media series provides insight to those interested in participating in the Walk, and to evoke a sense of empathy in those who have already experienced it. I believe that this is an event that every woman should participate in at least once in their lifetime, because for me, it was a genuinely humbling, and life-changing experience.
