About Deirdre Reid is an association management professional who recently moved to Raleigh NC from Sacramento CA where for more than four years she was the Director of Member Services at the California Building Industry Association. Prior to her work at CBIA, she was the Assistant Director of Associate Member Programs and held other roles at the National Association of Home Builders for five years. Before entering the association management profession, Deirdre was a restaurant general manager and a manager for an English as a Foreign Language school. She has a BA in History from Georgetown University and is currently a candidate for the Certified Association Executive exam in December.
