I agree wth your comment, however, I do see more enterprises / enterrise users articulating the need that’ ’social software’ should be / become part of their platform for enterrise collab / and comms. My view is this is where it is heading and SharePoint will (continue) to pay an important role for many enterprises.

Just so you know, I twas not my intention t take your blogoast out of context. (Arjan Radder was in the audience should you want to check ;-) )

Just a note: the reason many customers say they want social software to integrate with WSS is because WSS is usually the only thing business users have to share documents, above public drives. This is because IT hasn’t given them much of an option, and WSS is 'discovered' by users.
