  2. 2. <ul><li>IPL’s, next three seasons starting 2011, will have a total of 74 matches, up from 60 this year. </li></ul><ul><li>70 league matches and four play-off matches. </li></ul><ul><li>Each team playing 14 matches, 7 home and 7 away. </li></ul><ul><li>Two new teams Sahara Pune Warriors & Kochi are added. </li></ul><ul><li>Players contracts will be for a period of 2 years plus 1 year right of extension by franchise. </li></ul>

  4. 4. <ul><li>Suzuki motor corp. is planning a third vehicle plant in India to meet the demand. </li></ul><ul><li>Plant will start as early as 2013 at the same site i.e. in the Northern Manesar. </li></ul><ul><li>Production capacity will increase up to 6,00,000 cars. </li></ul><ul><li>Current production capacity is 3,60,000. </li></ul><ul><li>Market share of Maruti Suzuki slid to 47.7% period of this year 53.3% the year before because of less production capacity. </li></ul>

  6. 6. <ul><li>Japenese consumer electronics company Akai launching 10 models of mobile handsets in the dual-sim category. </li></ul><ul><li>The mobile handset category is expected to contribute 40% to the company,s targeted turnover of Rs.435 crore from Indian operations for the year ending June,2011. </li></ul><ul><li>Currently Akai is selling mobile handsets at 8000 counters in India. </li></ul><ul><li>Target is selling of 2,00,000 sets by this month end by opening new service centres across the country. </li></ul>

  8. 8. <ul><li>Nearly seven months after the Feb 13 Pune German Bakery blast left 57 injured & 17 dead. </li></ul><ul><li>Mirza Himayat Baig(29),head of Maharashtra LeT module,was arrested from Mahatma Gandhi bus stop in Pune on Wednesday afternoon. </li></ul><ul><li>His aide Shaikh Lalbaba Mohammed Hussain alias Bilal was nabbed from Subhash Chandra Bose Marg in nashik on Wednesday night. </li></ul>
  9. 9. <ul><li>Pune court later remanded Baig in Police custody till September 20. </li></ul><ul><li>Two Kg of RDX,soldering wires,cutters,LeT literature,manuals for making bombs,USD 1,200,Rs.10,500 cash,sim cards procured using fake documents,mobile phones & pen drives were recovered from them. </li></ul><ul><li>Baig was involved in planting the bomb with Mohmmad Ahmed Zarar Siddibapa alias Yasin,a key Indian Mujahideen leader. </li></ul><ul><li>Baig has accepted that he placed bomb in the bakery on February 13. </li></ul>
