Logical fallacies. Read pages 581-590(Documenting Sources) in The Longman Writer: pages 593-603 are the pagesnumbers to refer to on how to cite specific types of sources. You might not read this lastsection word for word, but you will definitely need to be familiar with the contents of itfor use in your argument essay. Warning: You will be graded HEAVILY upon yourresponsible use of sources in the paper, along with a logical flow of argument andadequate, specific support with appropriate documentation. Refer to the pagesfrequently when documenting your sources; its tedious stuff, but necessary. (Note:English 102 is ALL about MLA documentation and research, so if you study thisinformation carefully, youll be ahead of the game by the time you enter 102!) WEEK THIRTEENTuesday (November 16): Discuss primary and secondary sources, credibility.Thursday (November 18): Documentation quiz. Discuss thesis development forargument.
