    2. Where do they live? The water temperature is near freezing , and there is no light at all. It is in this zone that most of the visible light exists. The only visible light is produced by the creatures themselves.
    3. Now, let’s get to know them!
      • Viper fish
      Size: 30 - 60 cm Depth range: 75 -1500 m Feature: long, sharp teeth Angler fish Size: 12 cm Depth range: 900 m Other name: black devil Gulper eel Size: 180 cm Depth range: 900-1800 m Other name: umbrellamouth gulper Hatchet fish Size: 10 cm Depth range: 180-1350 m
    4. Special features:
      • 1. Deep-sea fish all have a light to lure their prey or mate.
