The French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) o A government-funded research organization o Research in all fields of knowledge, through ten institutes o Interdisciplinary research o Cooperative tools - Researcher Exchanges - International Scientific Cooperation Projects - Associated European Laboratories - International Joint Units - European Research Networks (GDRE) is a flexible multilateral coordination tool which can link up at a distance entire scientific communities working on a particular topic.
  • 8. European Research Networks (GDRE) o To coordinate the research effort undertaken by all the members of a network around a particular thematic area. oSet up for a period of four years, renewable once. oExamined by: - the Institut from which it depends - the National Committee of the CNRS
