I like your articulated strategies. Would like to see your community strategy map against your tactics and critical path.
If you follow up on them the tactics of commenting frequently on credible blogs, writing guests posts on them, etc can really work for you. This tactics could have been developed further by highlighting the blogs where you will comment and guest post.
You would still be better off to have a blog IMHO so that anyone who reads your comments or guest blog posts can link back to take a deeper dive into the quality of your critical thinking and writing. But you could link them back to your LinkedIn profile and from there to your twitter account. You see the difference though? LinkedIn forces you to look more like everyone else whereas your own blog give you a chance to frame your identity to your advantage.

Utilize my corporate contacts from previous positions in order to build up my LinkedIn network.
