      The metroplex encompasses 9,286 square miles and has a population of approx6,447,615. The Dallas/Fort Worth MSA is the largest metropolitan area in Texas and the 5th largest in the United States.
      DFW gains some 365 net new residents every day. About a quarter of all Texans live in the DFW Metropolitan area.

      Dallas/Fort Worth has more restaurants per capita than New York City. The Metroplex has more shopping centers per capita than any other United States city or metro. The metropolitan area is home to over 10,000 corporate headquarters making DFW the largest corporate headquarter concentration in the United States.

      New residents just visit a Texas Driver License office 
      Complete the requirements for an original applicant
      Bring your valid out-of-state license and the written and driving examinations will be waived, but you must still pass a vision exam.
