  4. 4. Urban Communities • There a several commercial buildings (Businesses). • High Population
  5. 5. Rural Communities • The Country Side • Farms • Low Populations
  6. 6. Suburban Communities • The town right outside of the city. • Houses are spread apart.
  7. 7. Our Community: Clarence, NY Clarence is a wonderful place. You can run, or you can play on playgrounds. Clarence is so much fun!
  8. 8. The Town Hall • A place where people can get information.
  9. 9. The Library • There are a lot of books here. • There are different sections of books: children and adults. • The Library is fun because it has a variety of interesting Books.
  10. 10. Our Schools • School is a great place to learn, you can learn anything at school. • There are a lot of subjects at school. • At school we have specials. • We have lots of fun!
  11. 11. The Post Office • You can mail packages and letters here!
  12. 12. The Fire Hall • Firefighters put out fires.
  13. 13. The Police Station • Police are helpful. • Police arrest bad guys and people who brake the law.
  14. 14. Our Park • The town park is a big place where people go. • A park is a place where people have fun! • We can play in the park. • A lot of kids go to the park.
  15. 15. Farms • Farms are fun to work at. • Farms have a lot of animals. • You can pick pumpkins on the farm.
  16. 16. Things we do for Fun! • People go on the bike path often for fun! • Children go out for ice cream. • People go to get pumpkins at the Great Pumpkin Farm.
