  • 9. Don Bivens, MBA, MA, Insurance Consultant Don joined CB Insurance during the spring of 2009. Prior to that he was with Brown & Brown Insurance in Colorado Springs, where he focused on construction, not-for-profit and commercial real estate business sectors.  Prior to that, he was a loan officer for Mountain View Bank where he structured and maintained a $6mm loan portfolio.  Don is a retired United States Army Officer, having worked in information management and finance at Ft. Carson; the Medical Department Activity Command at Ft. Riley, Kansas and as a Preventive Medical Specialist at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii.  Don earned his Business Administration degree from Colorado State University, Pueblo, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.  He also earned his Master’s in Business Administration and Masters of Arts degrees in Computer Resources and Information Management.  Don is currently completing his Certified Insurance Counselors certification.  Your Service Team

Andy Cobb, CIC, Senior Vice President Andy is able to address the needs of a broad range of businesses and organizations as a recognized industry expert, especially in the fields of real estate development, technology, manufacturing, construction, community associations and alternative risk financing programs (Captives). Andy enjoys a reputation for unusual expertise in the field of commercial insurance, founded on more than 35 years of experience on both the company and the agency side. His past experience includes his time with Indiana Lumbermen’s Mutual Insurance Company, where he was responsible for agency relationships, field underwriting, pricing of commercial business, and inspection/risk analysis of all commercial accounts in the State of Ohio. Andy has maintained a very active involvement in community affairs that include numerous civic and non-profit Board of Director positions Your Service Team

Marcia Lee, CIC, AU, AAI, CPIW, Vice President Marcia Lee has been with the firm for over 20 years and during her time has built a strong reputation in the industry and has also earned multiple designations, including, Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Associate in Underwriting (AU), and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI). Marcia specializes in the marketing and servicing of commercial lines business. She has designed programs and captives for manufacturers, high tech firms, hospitality, contractors, property developers, casinos and non-profit organizations. She has been a speaker for many groups, including the Pikes Peak CPCU Society, Insurance Women of Colorado Springs, The Maryland Insurance Group, and the AMS Users Group. She is an active member of the Professional Insurance Women of Colorado Springs and the National Association of Insurance Women. Past board positions include Leadership Pikes Peak, PIIA of Colorado Springs and the Education Chairman for the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado. Your Service Team
  • 12. Chris Ramirez, Bond Manager Chris joined CB Insurance during the fall of 2008. Prior to that he was the Surety Branch Manager of Great American Insurance Company’s Rocky Mountain Region in Denver, a branch which he founded. He also managed a Denver branch of Amwest Surety Company. With over 20 years of underwriting and management experience, he is a recognized expert in bonding. Chris was a Certified Public Accountant for many years, giving him the unique ability to understand and analyze financial statements and advocate on behalf of his clients He earned his “Affiliate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding” designation and has also served two terms as the President of the Rocky Mountain Surety Association and as the regional representative for National Association of Surety Bond Producers board.     Your Service Team

Todd Morris, AAI – Vice President Todd specializes in working with clients in the corporate and non profit sectors to identify and manage risks allowing them to control bottom line costs while remaining focused on their core competencies. Specific areas of responsibilities include Property & Casualty, Executive Liability and Employee Benefits. Todd has over 15 years of consulting experience working with clients to effectively manage a variety of potential risks. Prior to his time with CB Insurance and its predecessor, Van Gilder, Todd worked with a former “Big 5” professional services firm with a focus on Enterprise Risk Management. He has successfully achieved his Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI) designation and is close to completing his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. His civic and community involvement includes his memberships on the Board of Advisors for the Salvation Army and the Marketing Committee for the Downtown Partnership. Your Service Team
  • 14. Steve Schneider, CPCU – President, CB Insurance Steve joined Central Bancorp in July of 2006 and has since assumed the role of President of CB Insurance and CB Title. Prior to joining Central Bancorp, Steve was the President and Regional Managing Director for Acordia Mountain West, Inc. This nine state region consisted of ten profit centers and over $400MM in insurance and employee benefits premiums. Before his promotion to the regional post, Steve was the Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Acordia’s Colorado operations. During his tenure, the office improved, both in size and performance and was awarded Acordia’s “Office of the Year” in 2003. Steve’s community involvement in Colorado Springs has included board positions with Colorado Springs Assets for Youth, Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation (EDC), Care & Share Food Bank and also as a member of the El Paso County Budget Task force of 2008. Steve became Vice Chairman of the EDC in 2005 and Chairman that following year. Your Service Team

John Fletcher – Senior Loss Control Consultant John has over 30 years of experience in insurance loss control and risk management consulting and also holds a Master’s Degree in Safety Management. His areas of technical expertise include public entities, property, health care, ergonomics, worker’s compensation, construction, and fleet safety. John’s career includes 27 years with The Hartford Insurance where he gained advanced levels of qualification in his areas of specialization. During this time he was also the distinguished two-time winner of the General Manager’s Quality Award. Over his years, he has worked with such names as Microsoft, Costco, and Nintendo.   • 16. Kris Marshek – Claims Specialist Kris has been in the insurance business for over eight years, five of those in the claims area. Her role as part of the CB Insurance team is to advocate on behalf of our clients once the loss has occurred. This includes negotiating with our carriers to maximize coverage terms and also to make sure that the claims move forward to the best possible outcome for our insured. Kris is a valuable resource to clients with her experience in all types of claims, including workers compensation, fleet liability and physical damage, general liability and property. In the event of loss, she is in direct communication between our client and our internal team members to ensure all parties are informed. Kris is active in many civic activities including the Susan G Komen 3-Day, 60 mile walk in Denver, Colorado as well as the March of Dimes locally. Your Service Team
