Hector Alamo I am 39 years old. I have been part of the PACE program for 4 years. I previously worked in the workshop. I enjoy being at PACE and I like the activities very much.
Michael Batliner I am 27 years old. I like painting different things at program. I have been part of the PACE program for 2 years. I really like PACE. I have good teachers here.
Joseph Borno I am 26 years old. I have been part of the self advocacy group at PACE since May 2008. I like professional wrestling. Painting my picture was very calming.
Hope Caldwell I am 25 years old. I have been part of Jawonio for many years as I attended the summer camp. I have been part of the PACE program for 5 years and recently joined the Nyack Arts Program.
John Ferri I live with my parents, but will soon be moving to the TECH house. I am 23 years old. I like painting. I have been part of the PACE program for 2 years. I love to come to PACE.
Aridia Flores I live with my parents, and I am 27 years old. I have been a part of the PACE program for 6 years. I recently transferred to the Nyack Arts Program. I painted this picture because it reminded me of the Dominican Republic. Hope I get to visit soon!
Stacy Goodall I live with my parents, and I am 26 years old. I enjoy painting during program. I have been part of the PACE program for 4 years. In April, I transferred into the self-advocacy program. I truly enjoy my days painting.
Oliver Hilario I live with my parents, and I am 21 years old. I have been part of the PACE program for 2 years. In April, I transferred into the self-advocacy program. I truly enjoy my days painting. Painting my picture makes me feel good, makes me very proud of myself.
Peter Johnston I live in the Marasa home. I am 47 years old. I have been part of the PACE program for 4 years. I enjoyed painting this picture. It reminds me of a beautiful day with trees and birds.
Nanpan Kesmen I live with my parents, and I am 22 years old. I have been part of the PACE program for 1 year. I like coming to PACE.
Bill Lewis I live in the Moskoff Home. I am 49 years old. I have been part of the PACE program for 7 years. I like the activities and enjoyed drawing the train. I like coming here to PACE.
Shirley Lewis I live at the Paul J. Tendler Independent Living Center. I am 29 years old. I have been part of the PACE program since 2005. I love coming to PACE and I have lots of friends.
Mayowa Ogun I live with my parents, and I am 26 years old. I enjoy painting during program. I enjoyed painting this picture at PACE. I have been part of PACE for 5 years. I really like it here.
Ramon Rivera I live at the Paul J. Tendler ILC and I am 30 years old. I have been part of PACE for 5 years. I painted this picture because it reminds me of a day on a sunny beach in Puerto Rico. My picture was part of an “Art in Motion” display during a NYSRA conference, Fall, 2008 that I attended with one peer and two staff.
Marc Simons I live in a condo. I am 43 years old. I started painting when I was seven years old. I like coming to PACE. I have many friends here. My picture was part of the NYSRA “Art In Motion” conference, held this past fall.
Chaya Teitelbaum I live in a community residence called Yedei Chesed. I am 25 years old. I have been part of the PACE program for 3 years. My picture was part of the NYSRA “Art In Motion” conference, Fall, 2008.
Joseph Treutle I live in the Marasa House. I am 40 years old. I have been part of Jawonio for the past 18 years. I am part of the self-advocacy program. I love it! My picture was part of the NYSRA “Art In Motion” conference, Fall, 2008.
Samantha Wheeler My name is Samantha Monique Wheeler. I am 27 years old. I have been part of the PACE program for 5 years. I recently transferred to the Nyack Arts Program. I enjoyed painting this picture because it reminded me of when I visit the capitol of Jamaica, which we visit every summer.

Jawonio is a disability services provider, serving more than 5000 children and adults annually.
Services are provided for infants through seniors.
The program in the presentation is "PACE" (Positive Adult Community Experience), and is a day services program for young and older adults.
Jawonio is a magnificent resource that provides compassionate professional care to individuals with special needs throughout Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY and Bergen and Passaic Counties in New Jersey less
