Despite this, there is a growing consensus in the educational technology community that there are skills with which our students need to be prepared within the core curriculum in order for them to succeed in a global information-rich society.       • While the term “21 st Century Skills” has been criticized as being over used and meaningless, we have embraced the terminology by defining it in our setting.
      • These skills are aptitudes and abilities developed with our students that are not tied to a specific hardware or software tool.
      • We want these things in our school:
        • Every student will hear about Jesus every day
        • A strong academic curriculum tied to state and local standards
        • We care so much about your child’s future that we are intentionally integrating 21 st Century Skills into the core curriculum to best prepare them for THEIR future.
      • 1. The ability to use technology in God-pleasing ways for ministry and personal productivity, and in keeping with good digital citizenship practices
    • 2. The ability to analyze information and sources critically for accuracy and relevancy Wikipedia
