Collaboration: Working together in classes and beyond
Peer mediators: helping one another smooth out those ‘bumps in the road.’
Gold Time: Once every six days, we have time to get together to talk with and support one another. We plan activities, discuss concerns, and get to know each other beyond the classrooms. Have an idea for the team? This is the time!

“ I have found challenging my own perspectives and my comfort zone to be extremely rewarding and essential to personal growth, but more importantly, I have gained an appreciation for my own power to do good and make change in the community around me.” ~Frank Bergh, Washington University
The school - and team - does a lot of fund raising.
We encourage students to bring ideas forward for ways to make a difference - from helping a peer going through difficult times, to organizing a fund raiser to “adopt” an endangered tiger, we expect our students to take the lead!
“ Wow… thinking back on this year and all the amazing memories, I think this one had to be one of the best. The whole day was fun, hilarious, as well as comforting, knowing that we were helping people who are hungry.”
Team Bowling Days! After school, we walk down to the bowling alley for some friendly competition.
Volleyball! Team Competitions! We have a friendly rivalry with 8 Red – last year, they beat us at human tables… can you take the trophy back??? Getting bored while waiting for the bus? Join a volleyball competition in the courtyard, or pick up a Chinese hackey-sack and see how long you can keep it going…
This year is about challenging ourselves and “climbing those mountains” together – including Mount Monadnock!
We will hike in September – we will pick a weekend day, and invite your families to join us! This way, we can kick off the year by getting to know each other outside of school, and build stronger bonds for the year.
