    2. 2. Location Canyon Lands National Park located in Utah near the town of Moab and another national park The Arches.
    3. 3. CanyonLands  Canyon Lands preserves a colorful landscapes into countless canyons, mesas and buttes by The Colorado River, The Green River, and their respective tributaries. The Park is divided into four districts: The Island in the Sky, The Needles, The Maze, and the rivers themselves.

    5. 5. History Of The CanyonLands  People have visited What is now CanyonLands National Park for 10,000 years. Over time, many different groups Moved in and out of the area but it’s mainly a National Park Now. The CanyonLands were homes to many Native Americans.
    6. 6. Natural Features & Ecosystems  There are a lot of outstanding natural features of Canyon Lands are the park’s geologic formation. In each of the districts, visitors can see the remarkable effect of millions of years of erosion on a landscape of sedimentary rocks.

    8. 8. Animals  Mammals in the park include mule deer, desert bighorn sheep, mountain lions, coyotes, and even black bear, usually only in later summer. Smaller mammals include desert cottontails and kangaroo rats, the latter of which never drinks water, and gets all the water it needs by metabolizing plant matter. And 273 species of birds have been seen in the park.
