Editor's Notes
Regarding the ETPL – the provider must be on the list not the course.
(1) In accordance with Section 599.2 the amount of additional benefits potentially payable to a claimant is ………. (2) A claimant with 13 weeks (13X2= 52 effective days) of regular UI benefits remaining at the time of training approval, is potentially eligible for 26 weeks (or 104 effective days).
When the training is scheduled to begin more than six weeks after the application is received, the maximum number of weeks that can be credited towards the calculation of additional benefits, while the claimant is waiting to start training, is 48 effective days or 12 weeks. The number of weeks remaining as of the date the claimant starts the training is multiplied by two and then added to this number. The maximum number of additional benefits a claimant can potentially receive is 26 weeks or 104 effective days.
