    2. The Project
      • In this project we strengthen the Center’s web presence in providing cost-effective information on economic development. Specifically, we will:
        • Collect data from disparate state and federal sources
        • Develop and maintain a family of interactive web pages that allows users to conduct customized analysis for regions.
    3. The Project
      • In addition, new interactive analytical tools will be developed.
        • Fiscal impacts of residential development
        • What is the role of select industries in the local economy.
          • Agriculture
          • Health care
          • Others
        • Local demographic projection models
    4. The Proposed Project Timeline Mid-August … Martin leaves PSU for Colorado State- Tim Kelsey given project, to discover that little had been done Public release Dec Update & revise Oct Beta-test with end-users Sept Gather data & develop webtools Mar-Aug Meet with potential end-users Jan-Feb
    5. Two Products Created
      • Updated Fiscal Impact on-line workbook
      • Updated Economic Impact of Agriculture on-line tool
      TIF funds only charged for programmer’s time on these two projects
    6. Available in a printed & on-line version
      • Printed copy available from Penn State Cooperative Extension
