Media Studies<br />What’s the story?<br />The story will begin with a vivid dream that a number of students (yet to decide) have, of which consists of an angry teacher shouting at them for a specific reason i.e. don’t be late for an exam, don’t miss football lesson etc. The students wake up and rush around realising they are late and are worried that the teacher will be angry at them. During their rush everything that could possibly go wrong, goes wrong. For example drop toothbrush, get a lump of hair wax in their hair, flat tyre, and step in dog poo. The story finishes with all the students meeting up at the gate where they’ve had the worst luck, and find out that the school is shut – it’s a bank holiday. <br />Who is being represented?<br />In this particular story, teenagers are being represented as being unorganized, not very aware of their actions and failing to realize what day it is. It’s an ideology that teenagers aren’t the brightest, in some cases lazy and do silly things and this is what we are portraying.<br />What is your target audience?<br />Our main target audience is 16 – 19 year olds because that’s how old the actors will be and this means they can relate to the bad happenings that occur in the film. They can relate how sometimes they over sleep and are worried that they will be late to school and they can relate to the bad occurrences like a flat tyre which is quite a frequent problem to teenagers who cycle.<br />Genre?<br />Comedy<br />Other Information<br />We are going to incorporate a lot of different techniques into this video, for example animation at the end, and different camera angles to give the audience the full view of what’s happening. Music will also be a part of this as to aid the atmosphere and the specific feel of the scene. We will use split screens to show audience how the students get ready simultaneously.<br />
