Fill in the information It’s a good idea to use some keywords in the business description.

If your business is already in Google Maps… Google will now give you the opportunity to update and claim that listing. In this case, there is already a listing for Quick’s BBQ. However, we are adding a new listing because we have chosen to use a special phone number and web URL to track the success of these updates. This is the new listing. Google will ask about similar listings.

Google will now verify ownership. Google will either call your listing telephone number or send you a postcard in the mail to verify that you can edit the listing. Choose verification method. Note: If your phone number terminates directly into voice mail or an electronic answering service, phone confirmation will not work.

How to verify ownership of listing… Google will call the listing phone number with a four digit pin. Simply follow the prompts and enter the pin. If you opt for the post card, simply follow the instructions on the postcard when you receive it.

Your new listing will appear once processed.
