After that, achieve a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Finally, I will strive to become a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) </li></ul><ul><li>I chose this career because I really enjoy math and keeping track of things. I want to keep people financially stable. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Communications <ul><li>You need to have good communications skills if you are accountant because you need to be able to speak to others about their financial status, and that is very important. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Multi-tasking <ul><li>An accountant needs to be able to multi-task because they will have more than one client and they need to constantly be working with their clients’ financial activities. </li></ul><ul><li>Other than that, one client may have more than one activity going on. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Use of Technology <ul><li>An accountant needs to be skilled with technology because they will be using equipment to organize their information </li></ul><ul><li>As time goes on, so does technology. Accountants need to be advancing as the technology gets better </li></ul>
  7. 7. Problem Solving <ul><li>Each accountant has to deal with different financial information. </li></ul><ul><li>They must solve problems that might occur to keep their clients financially stable. </li></ul>

Good place to work with <ul><li>A place I would enjoy working with is the New York Yankees. </li></ul><ul><li>If I worked for the Yankees, I’d receive good pay and I would love my job twice as much. </li></ul><ul><li>The benefit you get from working with the Yankees is knowing you are a proud member of the NYY, one of the best baseball franchises in history </li></ul>
